Where to find your Steam Trade URL

Every item you buy here arrives as a Steam trade offer. To send it, we need your Trade URL: a personal link that lets anyone send you an offer without being on your friends list.

How to copy it

  1. Open Steam and go to Inventory.
  2. Click Trade Offers, then Who can send me trade offers?
  3. Under Third-Party Sites, copy the link that starts with https://steamcommunity.com/tradeoffer/new/.
  4. Paste it into Account → Steam Trade URL here.

Is it safe?

A Trade URL only lets someone propose a trade. Nothing leaves your inventory unless you accept the offer yourself in Steam. Always check that an offer contains exactly the item you bought before accepting.

Make sure trades are possible

Your Steam inventory must be public and Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator enabled, otherwise the offer will be held or refused by Steam.
